St. Joseph the Worker (TJ) 5538
The story of St. Joseph the Worker (TJ) Circle is a very heartwarming one. In 2009 when Transcona Council #3853 first started recruit for potential Squires, there was a young man named T.J. who was very enthusiastic about joining the Squires. It took a while for Transcona Council to get the 10 boys they needed. But sadly just before they got their 10 young men, T.J. passed away.
The remaining boys and T.J’s father, who is a Knight in the Council, wanted to do something special to remember T.J., and after some talk, the young men decided that when they finally start their Circle, they were going to add T.J.’s to its name. So on August 10th, 2011 these young men, along with some new recruits started the St. Joseph the Worker (TJ) Circle. Now everyone will remember T.J. and he will always be a part of this Circle.
Being a newer Circle, they have not been able to do too much as of yet. They have started doing volunteer work with their sponsoring Council so things are on their way to many great things.
